Rick Infanti has been the Club’s Tennis Professional for 31 years. He is a member of the St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute Sports Hall of Fame for his tennis achievements, he attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Canisius College where he played 1st singles.
After graduation he moved to Florida where here he worked as the head pro at the Bradenton Country Club. He then moved on to teaching pro at the Depalmer-Bollitteri Club during which time he coached world class juniors in their famous program. Upon returning to Buffalo in 1982 he was hired as the head pro at the Village Glen Tennis Club until 1985 at which time he became head pro at the T&S. He also served as General Manager of the Club from 1997 until his recent retirement at the end of 2016 in order to return as full time teaching professional. Rick is especially known for his ability to coach all levels from beginners to high level tournament competitors and all ages from 5 to 95. |
